In order for businesses and entrepreneurs to implement the 5 pioneers, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested the Government and ministries to "talk less but do more, say what you say and do it".

On October 4, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a meeting between the Government Standing Committee and business representatives on the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day.

In his concluding remarks, the Prime Minister stated that 20 years after the establishment of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day, the Vietnamese business community has developed strongly.

The number of newly established enterprises is constantly increasing, a bright spot in the economy, reflecting the need and effort for development in the context of the country facing many difficulties and challenges.

Enterprises and entrepreneurs are present in almost all industries and fields of production and business, not only domestically but many enterprises and entrepreneurs have made a name for themselves, affirmed their brand value and reached out to the region and the world, contributing to bringing Vietnamese brands to the world and enhancing our country's position in the international arena.

There are large-scale national enterprises and economic groups that play an important role, are the core and pioneers leading the development of industries, fields and the economy, contributing to the strong growth of national brands, such as Viettel, PVN, Vingroup, FPT, THACO, Hoa Phat, TH, Vinamilk, Masan...

In the coming time, the Prime Minister stated that the Government, ministries, branches and localities will focus on creating an open, favorable and equal business environment for enterprises and entrepreneurs, especially building a socialist-oriented market economy institution, with equal and healthy competition among economic sectors.

Develop a synchronous, modern, comprehensive strategic infrastructure, including transport, energy, telecommunications, healthcare, education, culture, etc. infrastructure to help reduce logistics costs, reduce input costs, improve the competitiveness of products, businesses and the economy, create new development space, new industrial parks, urban areas, services, and increase land value.

Perfecting the modern corporate governance model, mobilizing all resources for development. Protecting the legal and legitimate rights and interests of businesses and entrepreneurs, not criminalizing economic and civil relations.

"The spirit is open institutions, smooth infrastructure, smart governance, creating favorable conditions for business development. The government, ministries, and localities talk less but do more. What they say is what they do, what they commit to, they must implement...", the Prime Minister emphasized.

Along with that, the Prime Minister requested businesses and entrepreneurs to implement 5 pioneering actions.

First, pioneer in promoting 3 strategic breakthroughs (institutions, infrastructure and human resources).

Second, pioneer in science and technology development, apply achievements of the 4th industrial revolution, innovate, renew traditional growth drivers and promote new growth drivers.

Third, in the current context, pioneering in contributing to stabilizing the macro economy, controlling inflation, prioritizing growth promotion, and ensuring major balances of the economy.

Fourth, pioneer in building modern corporate governance to contribute to improving the country's governance capacity in a smart direction, with a clean, honest government serving the people.

Fifth, take the lead in consolidating and strengthening the strength of national solidarity and doing a good job in social security work.

"Let each of us demonstrate this spirit through concrete actions, together bringing the country into a new stage of development," the head of the Government stated.
