On August 28, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province announced that it had just issued Official Letter No. 483 announcing the suspension of the organization of the Art and Fireworks Program to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of National Day.
According to the document, based on the actual situation after storm No. 5 (Kajiki) caused heavy damage, the province decided to stop the art program and fireworks display scheduled to be held according to Document No. 5986/UBND-VX3 dated August 12, 2025.
According to the Provincial People's Committee, storm No. 5 caused strong winds of level 11, gusts of level 13, accompanied by heavy rain, seriously damaged facilities, affecting people's lives in the area.
To prioritize resources to overcome damage and stabilize people's lives, Ha Tinh province requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with relevant units to stop the program in accordance with regulations.
The People's Committee of Ha Tinh province affirmed that stopping fireworks and art programs is necessary in the context of the recent natural disasters, showing the highest priority for the safety and lives of the people.
