Ca Mau fireworks at Tran Hung Dao Square

Ca Mau - To celebrate the Lunar New Year 2025, the province will organize an art program and fireworks display at 9:00 p.m. on January 28, 2025 at Tran Hung Dao Square.

On November 20, Ca Mau province officially issued a plan to celebrate the Party and the Lunar New Year of the Snake in 2025. The province decided on many activities, including fireworks at 9:00 p.m. on January 28, 2025 at Tran Hung Dao Square, Ward 5, Ca Mau City.

In districts and cities in the province, the People's Committees of districts and cities of Ca Mau proactively direct the organization of the program to welcome the New Year of the Snake 2025 joyfully and enthusiastically to serve the people to enjoy the spring and welcome the New Year in a warm, safe and suitable way, in accordance with the actual situation in the locality, and have not yet decided whether to set off fireworks in all districts or not.

Activities to celebrate the Party and the Lunar New Year 2025 include organizing meetings to commemorate the Party’s achievements and welcome the spring of 2025, press gatherings, business meetings, and events for overseas Vietnamese to celebrate the New Year. Additionally, there will be meetings with artists, intellectuals, and members of the people’s armed forces, as well as gatherings for residents of Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho City. 

The activities also involve visiting revolutionary bases, veteran revolutionary cadres, and policy families, as well as organizing encouragement visits and New Year greetings to on-duty forces and residents on Hon Chuoi Island and Hon Khoai Island. Visits to units within and outside the province are planned, along with incense-offering ceremonies at the Memorial Site of President Ho Chi Minh, the Temple of 10 Heroes and Martyrs of the Hon Khoai uprising, and the provincial martyrs’ cemetery. Lastly, there will be spring gatherings to distribute gifts to children in difficult circumstances, particularly in coastal communes facing severe challenges.
