After the national online meeting to respond to the Action Month for Drug Prevention and Control in 2026, Nghe An province organized a movement run with the theme "United determination to build communes and wards without drugs".
The activity was organized at the provincial-level bridge point, the area of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Culture House, No. 6 Le Mao Street, Thanh Vinh Ward. At the same time, communes and wards in the province also responded in forms suitable to the actual conditions of each locality.

At the provincial-level bridge point, participating in the movement were Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; Mr. Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, agencies, and sectors.
The activity also involved the participation of officers and soldiers of the armed forces; officials, civil servants, public employees; forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level; union members, youth, students; members of mass organizations, sports clubs, amateur running clubs and a large number of people.
The route running at the provincial-level bridge point is about 1km long, starting from the Provincial Labor Culture House to the intersection area between Ho Tung Mau street and Truong Thi street.
In communes and wards, mass running activities are also organized with a distance of about 1km, starting from the meeting point or location arranged by the locality.
This is one of the key activities in response to the Action Month for Drug Prevention and Control in 2026 and International Day - National Day for Drug Prevention and Control June 26.
Through mass sports activities, Nghe An spreads the message "United determination to build communes and wards without drugs", "Drugs are a disaster of humanity; the whole people say no to drugs".
The activity also contributes to innovating methods of propaganda on drug prevention and control, encouraging people to raise vigilance, proactively prevent, and actively participate in denouncing crimes and violations of the law on drugs.
