At around 2:00 p.m. on November 18, a loud explosion suddenly occurred in the mountain top area above the two villages of Aroi and A Ting (Hung Son commune), accompanied by a phenomenon of the stream water turning cloudy, trees falling and a landslide of about 30m of land.
These signs show that the risk of landslides may continue to occur, directly threatening the safety of people in the two villages.

Faced with the dangerous situation, Hung Son commune has urgently evacuated 9 households with 40 people to Truong Gari and the old People's Committee headquarters to ensure safety.
At the shelter, the authorities prepared meals, drinks and arranged temporary accommodation for people, ensuring stable living conditions while waiting for further developments.
Local authorities are closely monitoring the developments and advising people not to approach the landslide area, always being ready to move when required.

Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, at around 9:30 a.m. on November 14, in Phat village (Hung Son commune, Da Nang city), a particularly serious landslide occurred. The large slide has buried many areas, blocking more than 200m of DH4 road and leaving many people missing.
Up to now, the victims have not been found. The authorities temporarily stopped the search because dangerous rain and landslides were still occurring.
