Information from a leader of Thuong Duc commune said that a man had just died in the area with a suspected self-immolation.
Accordingly, at around 10:00 a.m. on September 6, when Ms. T.T.G (born in 1985, residing in Huong Giang village, Thuong Duc commune) was returning home from her family's church, she discovered her husband, Mr. B (born in 1982), dead in a state of fire in the family's alley.
After that, Ms. G reported to Thuong Duc Commune Police. When the police arrived at the scene, they discovered a suicide note from Mr. B about advising his wife and children.
Mr. B's wife and children also provided some messages from Mr. B to his wife and children stating that he intended to commit suicide.
During the work, the family did not request an autopsy, so the Thuong Duc Commune Police made a record and handed over the body to the victim's family for burial according to local customs.
