According to information from Quynh Phuong Border Guard Station, at around 2:00 p.m. on September 15, the unit received a report from Mr. Tran Dinh Dien (born in 1974, residing in Tan Mai ward), captain of fishing boat QNg-97478, about crew member Bui Duong Thanh (born in 1978, residing in the same ward) having a seafood rope hit his face while fishing, causing severe injuries, loss of blood and unconsciousness.
As soon as the news was received, Quynh Phuong Border Guard Station coordinated with local authorities to dispatch a canoe with 6 officers and soldiers to the scene to organize the rescue.
By 3:00 p.m. the same day, the border guards had approached the fishing boat and provided initial first aid to the victim at sea.
At around 4pm, the working group brought the victim to shore and transferred him to a higher-level hospital for emergency care, ensuring the safety of the crew member in distress.
