On August 25, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Dak Lak Provincial Police) informed that the unit had successfully rescued a male driver trapped in the cabin after a truck overturning accident.
According to initial information, at around 11:30 p.m. on August 24, the authorities received a report from the people about the accident between a truck driven by Mr. V.T.T (residing in Khanh Hoa province) and a tractor-trailer driven by driver B.C.L (residing in Dong Thap province).
The accident occurred when the tractor-trailer was reversing from a gas station to National Highway 1A (Binh Kien Ward, Dak Lak Province) when it collided with a truck in circulation.
The strong collision caused the truck to be severely damaged and overturned into a deep hole on the side of the road.
Two people injured in the truck were taken to the emergency room by local people. driver V.T.T was stuck in the cabin.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Area 8 mobilized 13 officers, soldiers and 2 specialized vehicles to the rescue.
At the scene, the truck was tilted down to a deep hole, lying near a c belonging to the abyss, surrounded by many trees and cabins that were seriously deformed. This made it very difficult for the rescue team to approach the victim.
Driver T was trapped and panicked. The authorities promptly encouraged the spirit and urgently deployed rescue measures.
After more than 2 hours of effort, the rescue team safely removed the victim from the cabin and transferred him to the hospital for treatment.
The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
