Gia Lai - A marine creature about 4m long, weighing more than 2 tons, body like a whale but head long like a dolphin, was discovered by fishermen stranded near the shore.

On May 4, Mr. Le Van Toan - Head of Vinh Hoi village (Cat Tien commune, Gia Lai province) - said that local people are bringing the body of a large sea creature ashore for burial according to fishermen's customs.

According to Mr. Toan, this creature is about 4m long and weighs more than 2 tons. Due to its large size, the local authorities have reported to the authorities for support in handling it.

Previously, at about 2 pm on May 3, fishermen in Vinh Hoi village discovered this creature stranded in a state of weak vitality, with many wounds on its back and eyes.

Immediately after that, dozens of people helped push the creature back to the sea. However, by noon on May 4, this creature had died, drifting a few hundred meters from the coast of Vinh Hoi village.

According to local people, the creature has a rather special shape, a large body like a whale but a pointed head and a long mouth like a dolphin. Based on sea travel experience, many fishermen believe that this may be a whale with a beak.
