In the The Huc bridge area, a large number of visitors gathered. People and tourists lined up to wait to get on the bridge to visit and take photos. Crowds continuously moved through this area, contributing to creating a bustling scene at Hoan Kiem Lake on National Day September 2nd.
Ms. Nguyen Thu Trang (Cau Giay ward, Hanoi) said that this year's National Day, her family did not travel but chose to stay in the Capital, taking their children to Hoan Kiem Lake to play.
On big holidays, the central area of Hanoi has a very special atmosphere. My family decided not to go far but to take our children to the pedestrian street to stroll, take photos and feel the National Day atmosphere. Although quite crowded, everyone is very happy" - Ms. Trang shared.
Meanwhile, Ms. Le Thi Huong (from Ninh Binh) said that her family actively returned to Hanoi early to avoid traffic jams at the end of the holiday, and also spent time taking her children to Hoan Kiem Lake to play.
My family came to Hanoi early to avoid congestion. The children also wanted to go to Hoan Kiem Lake and eat Trang Tien ice cream, so the whole family took the opportunity to come down here to play and visit before returning to work and study" - Ms. Huong said.
On this occasion, the city arranged many free parking spots in public areas, parks, relics and some streets until the end of September 2nd to serve people and tourists on the occasion of National Day.
In the Hoan Kiem ward area, people can park their vehicles for free at some temporary parking spots on the roads of Ngo Quyen streets (section from Tong Dan intersection to Hai Ba Trung intersection), Ly Thai To, Hai Ba Trung, Nguyen Huu Huan.
There are also temporary parking spots on the streets of Le Phung Hieu, Tran Nguyen Han, Hang Trong, and Nha Tho streets.
