On November 19, Ha Nha Commune Police (Da Nang City) received a live pangolin, weighing about 4.7kg, voluntarily handed over by the people.
According to information from Ha Nha Commune Police, while working in the fields, Mr. D.C.K. (born in 1968, residing in Hoa Thach village) discovered a pangolin lying in the bushes. "Seeing that the animal was still alive and quite weak, I took it home and immediately called the Commune Police to report it, because I knew this was a rare species that could not be raised or bought for sale," Mr. K. shared.

Immediately after receiving the meteorite, the Ha Nha Commune Police force made a record and coordinated with the professional department to check the health of the pangolin. After that, the unit handed over to the Inter-commune Forest Protection Department of Area 3 to release them back into the natural environment, contributing significantly to conservation work.
