On January 7, Vinh Hoang Commune Police (Quang Tri province) said that they had just deployed patrols and controls combined with propaganda and mobilization of people to voluntarily hand over weapons, explosives, support tools and firecrackers. Through this, people voluntarily handed over 2 homemade guns, 4 firecrackers and 1 dagger.
According to Vinh Hoang Commune Police, people proactively handing over weapons and explosives helps eliminate unsafe risks, demonstrating law compliance and responsibility to the community, especially during the upcoming Lunar New Year.
In the coming time, the Commune Police will continue to call on people to raise vigilance, promptly notify violations related to weapons, explosives, supporting tools and firecrackers. All acts of illegal storage, trading, and use will be strictly handled according to regulations.
