Man swept away by water after rescuing student

Quang Binh - After rescuing the student, Mr. Cuong was swept away by the water and went missing.

On November 5, the People's Committee of Mai Hoa commune (Tuyen Hoa district, Quang Binh province) said that a man had just been swept away by floodwaters and went missing.

Initial information, at around 4:30 p.m. the same day, a 5th grade student at Xuan Mai Primary School (Mai Hoa Commune) was swept away while passing through flooded areas in Bac Hoa Village (Mai Hoa Commune).

Seeing that, Mr. Cao Van Cuong (born in 1971, residing in Bac Hoa village) jumped into the water and saved him. After that, Mr. Cuong was unfortunately swept away by the water and went missing.

Upon receiving the news, the authorities went to the scene to search, but by 6:10 p.m. the same day, Mr. Cuong had not been found.
