On the morning of October 1, Quang Tri General Hospital confirmed that patient N.V.H (64 years old, residing in Liem Cong Tay village, Cua Tung commune, Quang Tri province) is being treated at the Intensive Care Unit for anti-poisoning in a state of alertness.
Previously, at around 7:30 p.m. on September 30, Mr. N.V.H went to a garden near the forest and was bitten by a venom snake. During the panic, he was given first aid by people around and called for rescue.

At the same time, the Northern Traffic Police (CSGT) team - Road Traffic Police Team No. 1 - Traffic Police Department of Quang Tri Province Police on duty nearby received the information, immediately moved to the scene and took Mr. N.V.H to the emergency room.
The traffic police's specialized vehicle quickly took the victim to Quang Tri General Hospital for emergency care more than 30km from where the victim was bitten by a snake and was promptly treated by doctors.
