In the afternoon of July 15, information from the People's Committee of Trinh Tuong commune, at about 6:30 am on the same day, Mr. Giang A Khoa (born 1995, residing in Tan Giang village, Trinh Tuong commune) and his son Giang Seo Viet (born 2020) went down to the Red River bank area in Tan Giang village.
During the movement, Mr. Khoa unfortunately slipped and fell into the river and was swept away by the water.
Immediately after receiving the news, Trinh Tuong Commune People's Committee directed functional forces to urgently verify the incident, and at the same time mobilized forces to organize the search for the victim.
To expand the search scope, Trinh Tuong Commune People's Committee has requested the People's Committees of communes and wards in the downstream area of the Red River to direct functional forces, villages, residential groups and people to strengthen monitoring and observation along the river; promptly notify if people or bodies are found floating on the river.
The locality also requested units when detecting signs of involvement to quickly protect the scene and immediately notify Trinh Tuong Commune People's Committee for coordination in handling according to regulations.
