On the morning of October 17, the leader of the People's Committee of Dong Trach commune (Quang Tri province) confirmed that two incidents had just occurred in the area, causing the death of a couple.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that at around 7:30 a.m. the same day, a car was traveling on National Highway 1 in the South - North direction. When it reached the area (Dong Trach Commune), it suddenly collided with a man from the side of the road. The security camera on the car showed this person driving straight out in front of the car.
The victim was identified as Mr. N.T.T (61 years old, residing in Dong Duyet 1 village), died on the spot.
In particular, when the authorities arrived at the victim's house to report, they discovered that Mr. T's wife, Ms. N.T.L (61 years old), had also died in the house, of unknown cause.
Immediately afterwards, the authorities blocked off the scene, conducted an autopsy and investigated the cause of the incident.
