In recent days, in Vinh Long province, a series of key projects have been inaugurated, started construction, and welcomed the 1st Vinh Long Provincial Party Congress, bringing modern infrastructure and practical utilities to the people.
Among the key projects, the freshwater reservoir infrastructure project along the Lang The river helps stabilize water resources for production, daily life, improve traffic and connect areas.
Mr. Tran Van Khai, a resident of Cang Long district, shared: The freshwater reservoir along the Lang The river helps the water source to always be stable, serving production and daily life, especially during the drought and salinity season. People are very assured, their lives have improved significantly.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan, a worker at Giao Long Industrial Park, said that the social housing project for workers and laborers will help us have a stable place to live, work with peace of mind, and take care of our family life, especially in the context of increasingly developing urban areas.
Infrastructure projects and social housing not only solve practical immediate needs but also contribute to improving the quality of life, creating favorable conditions for working, studying and living of people in the community.
We expect these projects to open up many opportunities for economic, service and social development, while helping people to firmly believe in the sustainable development of the province, especially in the new term and the goals of the Provincial Party Congress, Ms. Lan added.
Speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. Lu Quang Ngoi - Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee said that the province has implemented 9 key projects, bringing practical benefits and promoting sustainable infrastructure and economic development.
According to Mr. Ngoi, projects, including freshwater reservoirs along Lang The river, Lo 2 bridge, Ben Tre trade union social housing and wind power plants, have improved the lives and living facilities for people.
Key projects help people settle down, live and work with peace of mind. At the same time, the projects open up many new development opportunities, demonstrating the determination to improve community life.
Mr. Ngoi emphasized that the implementation of key projects also attracts investment, creates jobs, improves regional connectivity, improves infrastructure capacity and promotes sustainable development for the province.
