On the morning of October 2, delegates attending the Vinh Long Provincial Party Congress performed a ceremony to visit the Martyrs' Cemetery, expressing deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs. This is an important activity, demonstrating the gratitude of the Party Committee and People to those who sacrificed for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
Delegates gathered in 3 areas: Vinh Long, Ben Tre and Tra Vinh to perform the solemn ceremony. At each cemetery, the visitation ceremony takes place solemnly with traditional rituals, including offering flowers, placing wreaths and holding a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs.
After the ceremony, delegates returned to the Vinh Long Provincial Convention Center to continue group discussions on the Central Committee's documents and the Provincial Party Congress documents.
The official ban meeting took place from 3:00 p.m. the same day, preparing for the next important meetings.
