On the morning of October 28, the Hue City Hydrometeorological Station informed that currently, floods on rivers in the area are receding slowly.
Updated to 3:00 a.m. on October 28, the water level of hydrological stations recorded: Huong River at Kim Long station: 4.67 m, exceeding alert level III by 1.17 m; Bo River at Phuoc station: 4.64 m, exceeding alert level III by 0.14 m; O Lau River at Phong Binh station: 2.54 m; Truoi River at Truoi station: 3.00 m; Ta Trach River at Thuong Nhat station: 60.84 m, 0.16 m below alert level II.

It is forecasted that in the next 12 hours, floods will continue to recede slowly, but the Huong River is still subject to a very high level above alert level III, the Bo River is forecast to drop below level III. In the next 12 - 24 hours, the Huong River will reach alert level III, the Bo River will decrease to alert level II.
Currently, the risk of natural disasters due to floods is warned at level 3. Widespread flooding and inundation are at high risk in downstream, low-lying and urban areas; at the same time, flash floods and landslides may occur in mountainous areas and steep slopes.
In particular, people need to be vigilant when traveling through culverts, spillways and deeply flooded sections of roads - water flowing rapidly; limit travel to areas with dangerous steep terrain or deeply flooded.
