On November 11, the Management Board of Kon Ka Kinh National Park, Gia Lai province, said that recently, the unit has received many wild animals submitted by the people, including species on the list of endangered and rare species that need to be strictly protected.
Recently, people in Duc Co commune, Cuu An, Ayun Pa commune, Ia Lau... have handed over monkeys, turtles, parrots... to the authorities for care and recovery before releasing them back into the forest.
People's self-awareness shows that public awareness of biodiversity conservation is increasingly improved.

Previously, many households still kept wild animals for ornamental purposes or kept in captivity due to lack of knowledge of the law. However, thanks to the propaganda and mobilization work of forest rangers and local authorities, people have proactively coordinated to protect wildlife.
After receiving them, Kon Ka Kinh National Park conducted health check-ups, species classification, prepared records and brought the individuals to the semi-wild area to restore their survival.
Eligible children will be released back into the forest in strictly protected areas of the Park.
