Quang Binh - Worried about the rapid rise of water due to heavy rain, many households in Le Thuy district brought cars and motorbikes to Kien Giang bridge and other high points to avoid flooding.

Faced with the complicated flood situation caused by storm No. 1, people in Le Thuy district (Quang Binh) - the "flood center" of the province, have proactively responded by moving their vehicles to high-altitude locations such as Kien Giang, Phong Xuan and Phong Lien bridges.

On the morning of June 13, in Kien Giang town and some communes along the Kien Giang river, many inter-village roads and alleys were flooded from 0.3 to 0.5m deep. Water also began to flood into the yards of some households in low-lying areas.

Local authorities have activated the "4 on-site" motto, proactively relocated assets, prepared forces and means to respond in emergency situations. The authorities are also on duty at the bridges to instruct people to arrange their vehicles neatly, not causing traffic congestion or obstructing natural disaster prevention work.

According to Vinasarcom of Quang Binh province, heavy rain in the past two days has caused flooding in many spillways, locally cutting off roads. Although residential areas have not been heavily flooded, about 18,000 hectares of rice have been affected.
