Faced with the complicated developments of storm No. 10 (international name is Bualoi), many households in Group 37, Hoa Khanh Ward, Da Nang City have proactively raised their furniture, appliances, and electronic equipment to avoid damage when the water rises.

Living in the 161 Me Suot apartment building for many years, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga said that when hearing the announcement about storm No. 10 causing heavy rain, her family proactively raised their tables and chairs, water purifiers, refrigerators, electric motorbikes, etc. to higher ground to avoid the water suddenly rising and not being able to move in time.

"The family's belongings and clothes were all arranged in the attic, the motorbikes were parked higher, while the electric motorbikes were temporarily put on the chairs, and the water rose as high as it was.
Every time I hear a heavy rain, my family loses sleep because I am afraid that the water will rise and I won't be able to react, learn from the experience of previous floods, so as long as it rains, my family will move our belongings up high, move our light things up the attic," said Ms. Nga.
As for Mr. Ngo Duy Tuyen's family (Hoa Khanh ward, Da Nang city), the house did not have a sill, so when he heard the news of heavy rain due to the impact of the storm, he set up a scaffolding to move his belongings up high to prevent floodwaters from rising.

"The family only has 2 members, so we have to proactively move everything up high, set up scaffolding in the house so that if the water rises, there will be a place to store things. As for each refrigerator above, it cannot be put up yet, if it rains heavily and the water continues to rise, we must ask an assistant to help put it up, Mr. Tuyen shared.
