On the morning of August 10, at the King Ly Thai To Monument and Dinh Tien Hoang Street (Hoan Kiem Lake walking street, Hoan Kiem Ward), Hanoi City Police organized the Festival for the Peaceful Capital program.
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, from early Sunday morning (August 10), many people flocked to Hoan Kiem Lake walking street to watch the program of the Festival for the Peaceful Capital.
Today, Ms. Le Thi Hoai (24 years old, Tu Liem ward) woke up earlier than usual with a group of friends to go to Hoan Kiem Lake walking street, looking forward to witnessing the grand parades, special art performances, especially the martial arts performance of the Capital Police force.
This is not only an opportunity for people to entertain but also helps us better understand the hard work, discipline and spirit of the people of the officers and soldiers of the Capital Police. I hope this event will bring the people a real festival, both exciting and meaningful" - Ms. Hoai shared.
From 6am, Mr. Tran Minh Duc (38 years old, Hoang Mai ward) with his wife and 2 children (10 years old and 6 years old) were present at the walking street, finding a good location to watch the entire Festival for the Peaceful Capital program.
"I hope to admire the neat and stunning parade, along with the modern vehicles of the Hanoi Police force. The martial arts performance of officers and soldiers promises to be very attractive, demonstrating combat capability, being ready to respond to all situations with the spirit of being ready to fight for the peace of the capital" - Mr. Duc said.
Mr. Duc also believes that this event will bring a heroic atmosphere, helping people to trust and be more attached to the Hanoi City Police force.
According to Hanoi Police, the For the Peace of the Capital Festival program is one of a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day 2.9; 80 years of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day; 20 years of the National Day for National Security Protection.
The program "Fest for the Peaceful Capital" harmoniously combines art performances with the two topics " Glory of 80 years of the Heroic Capital Police" and "Aspiration to contribute, for the Peaceful Capital" to review the team, mass parade and specialized equipment and means of Hanoi City Police.
The art performances have the participation of many famous artists such as: Meritorious Artist Lan Anh, singer Ho Ngoc Ha, singer Toc Tien, singer Noo Phuoc Thinh, singer Nguyen Tran Trung Quan, artists of the Vietnam Song and Dance Theater and officers and soldiers of the Capital Police, promising to bring impressive, touching and memorable experiences to the audience, arousing national pride and love for the Fatherland.
The special and impressive highlight of the program was the team approval and mass parade with the participation of nearly 3,000 officers and soldiers representing units under the Hanoi Police and the people of the capital; 245 specialized motor vehicles belonging to the professional forces of the City Police.
Along with that are the People's Public Security martial arts performances with high level and technique.
