Mr. Le Thanh Do - Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee - has just signed Decision No. 1825/QD-UBND on awarding Certificates of Merit to 2 individuals "For outstanding achievements, brave actions in saving people and property of the people contributing to the construction and development of Dien Bien province".
Accordingly, 2 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit, including: Mr. Mua A Trong - Secretary of Hang Pu Xi, Xa Dung commune; and Mr. Mua A Gia - Head of the Security Team of Hang Pu Xi village, Xa Dung commune, Dien Bien province.
On August 26, speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. Mua A Trong (35 years old) - Secretary of Hang Pu Xi - said that he had received a decision to award a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, the heavy rain lasting from the night of July 31 to August 2, in Dien Bien, caused flash floods and terrible landslides that caused heavy damage to people and property in the mountainous communes of the province.
