On November 19, Central Party Committee member and Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung led a working delegation to inspect the situation and work with the leaders of Dak Lak province on flood prevention.

In the flooded areas of the locality, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung requested localities to urgently evacuate people from dangerous areas to safe places before dark. At the same time, it is necessary to calculate the option of using a helicopter if the weather allows.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung emphasized: "In the emergency flood situation, all efforts must focus on ensuring the safety of people's lives, leaving no one behind in the danger zone".

It is forecasted that tonight, the water level of some rivers in the province may exceed the historical level of 1993, causing thousands of people to need emergency relief. Military Region 5 is mobilizing more forces and vehicles to support the evacuation of people.

The Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, sectors, units, People's Committees of communes and wards to be proactive and promptly deploy response work.
