On December 26, Vice Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Hieu inspected the progress of public investment projects in Yen Lac district.
According to the report of Yen Lac District People's Committee, it is estimated that by the end of 2024, the locality will disburse 94% of the total assigned public investment capital.
In particular, the North-South urban axis road project of Vinh Phuc, the section from Ring Road 4 to the Red River left dike, has a total investment of 274 billion VND, implemented in the period of 2021 - 2024.
Up to now, the project's construction volume has only reached about 40%, the reason for the slow progress of the project is due to difficulties in compensation and site clearance.
At the same time, the project is stuck with the safety height of the 220kV Hoa Binh - Soc Son power line; the starting point of the line has complex geology, requiring treatment of weak ground.
Besides, the district lacks soil and sand mines, affecting the progress of site leveling.
Faced with these difficulties, the investor is completing the application to increase the total investment from VND 274 billion to VND 286.7 billion.
At the inspection, Vice Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Hieu acknowledged the positive results and assigned the Department of Transport and related departments and branches to continue to remove difficulties and obstacles for the North-South urban axis road project of Vinh Phuc from Ring Road 4 to the Red River left dike.
Yen Lac District People's Committee continues to effectively implement the directive documents of the Provincial People's Committee for the Yen Lac District Main Road Project, the section from National Highway 2 avoiding Vinh Yen City to Provincial Road 303, Te Lo Commune; directs departments and offices to review and clearly identify key tasks in 2025; clearly assign tasks to units and localities in disbursing public investment capital.
Next, the Vice Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee inspected the progress of the Yen Lac District Medical Center Construction and Upgrade Project.
According to the report of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Construction Investment Management Board, the project has a total investment of over 313 billion VND, a scale of 250 hospital beds and is expected to be completed in May 2025.
