After a large fire occurred in the late afternoon of February 28, this morning (March 1), a cluster of fire at a mattress warehouse in Cu Chi commune suddenly flared up again, causing functional forces to urgently mobilize forces to handle it thoroughly.
Talking to Lao Dong reporters, Chairman of Cu Chi Commune People's Committee said that although the fire was basically controlled last night, February 28, but by this morning, March 1, a cluster of fire in the warehouse broke out again. Immediately after receiving the news, the fire prevention and fighting force mobilized many specialized vehicles and officers and soldiers to quickly return to the scene.

After about 20 minutes of efforts to deploy water cannons, the recurring fire was completely extinguished.
Previously, at about 4 pm on February 28, a fire suddenly broke out at a warehouse storing foam mattresses located on Street 93, Cu Chi commune. A black column of smoke rose tens of meters high, causing panic among people in the area.

Fire and Rescue Police Team Area 18 (Ho Chi Minh City Police) mobilized forces to put out the fire.
Representatives of the Commune People's Committee confirmed: "Fortunately, the fire did not cause any casualties. Currently, functional agencies are coordinating to investigate and clarify the cause of the incident, and at the same time specifically statistically assess the extent of property damage.
