On May 27, Mr. Nguyen Duy Tuan - Director of Nha Trang City Public Service Management Board said that he had asked the construction unit to go to the people's house to apologize for the Nguyen Tat Thanh Flood Treatment Project, which caused pollution and hindered their daily activities.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Vu (residing in Nha Trang City) was upset about the prolonged construction of the Nguyen Tat Thanh Flood Treatment Project (from Lu Giang to Provincial Road 3), causing dust and environmental pollution.
After receiving the opinions of the people, Director of Nha Trang City Public Service Management Board Nguyen Duy Tuan requested the construction contractor to overcome the pollution and soon implement the project.
In addition, the Director of the Nha Trang City Public Service Management Board also requested the contractor to apologize to the people for the inconveniences in the project implementation process, affecting their lives.
It is known that the above-mentioned Nguyen Tat Thanh Flood Treatment Project was approved by Nha Trang City People's Committee at the end of 2023, assigning the Nha Trang City Public Service Management Board as the investor.
It will not be until 2025 that this project will be implemented. According to the plan, the project construction progress is 120 days (from March 29 to July 29, 2025).
Mr. Nguyen Duy Tuan took over as Director of the Nha Trang City Public Service Management Board after his predecessor was involved in labor fraud.
At the end of 2024, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police prosecuted and temporarily detained Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Sam - Director of the Department and Nguyen Van Cuong (Head of the Planning - Technical Department, Nha Trang City Public Service Management Board) to investigate the acts of "Violating regulations on bidding causing particularly serious consequences" and "Receiving bribes".
Regarding the above case, Mr. Trinh Doan Dung (Director of Dung Loi Company Limited) and Ms. Phan Thi Nhu Thuy (Director of TL Nha Trang Construction Consulting Company Limited) were also prosecuted and temporarily detained for the act of "Violating regulations on bidding causing serious consequences".
According to the investigation, Ms. Sam and Mr. Cuong were accused of abusing their positions and powers, receiving bribes from consulting contractors. Both defendants have illegally intervened in bidding activities, violating legal regulations on ensuring fairness and transparency.
This behavior illegally benefited the contractor, Dung Loi Company Limited, causing serious damage to state assets.
