On May 7, the leader of the People's Committee of Dak R'moan commune (Gia Nghia city, Dak Nong) confirmed that the traditional house made of thatch, bamboo, and rattan had completely collapsed.
The incident did not cause any human casualties but the entire frame of the house was completely damaged.
The traditional house of bon Dak R'moan, Dak R'moan commune collapsed on April 29.
Previously, this area experienced thunderstorms and early season winds, combined with the deterioration of the project, causing the entire house to collapse.
Immediately after the incident, the local authorities reported to Gia Nghia City. On the afternoon of May 7, the authorities arrived at the scene to check the current situation and make a handling plan.

According to research, the Dak R'moan Traditional House project has a total investment of more than 3.4 billion VND.
The project is constructed by Tri Nguyen Company Limited (Gia Nghia), and started construction in early 2017.
In January 2018, the construction project was completed and put into use.
A few years ago, the traditional house was a place to organize traditional cultural and entertainment activities of ethnic minorities in the locality.
However, for many people in Dak R'moan village, traditional houses have become a sadness because the project has shown many signs of poor quality.
According to the leader of the People's Committee of Dak R'moan commune, after many years of deterioration and damage, this locality has recently been allocated about 700 million VND to repair and restore the project. However, during the planning period, an incident occurred.
