This is a free hotline with 200 volunteers on duty 24/7, ready to receive calls for relief from people; receive information and coordinate relief resources from individuals and groups.
According to the Central Youth Union, hotline 18006132 does not charge call fees, does not require an Internet connection, and is always active to receive requests from people in disaster-hit areas, so as not to miss any cases that need relief.
In addition to calling the free hotline 18006132, all individuals, agencies and organizations can become information providers through ERIN's official website at www.cuunankhancap.com and Fanpage: ERIN - Emergency Rescue Information Network.
After being confirmed by volunteer teams, the information is aggregated and divided by locality (province, district, commune) and labeled with the status and priority level to be handled. Next, the National Volunteer Center coordinates, transfers to local Youth Union organizations, and shares with relief forces in districts and communes to quickly support the people.
This will allow households in need of assistance to be connected to the nearest relief team, reducing information fragmentation, lack of systems and overloaded communication lines at the scene.
Agencies, organizations, and relief teams are connected to areas and relief cases that are compatible in terms of location, route, needs, human resources, and materials, minimizing risks and waste of resources.
Flood victims need "Social Security Bags, Relief Bags"
Currently, the Central Youth Union has coordinated with the Provincial Youth Unions to gather urgent goods in each locality. Localities have proposed to package them into Social Security Bags, Relief Bags and some other necessary items.
The number of bags needed by each province has been publicly posted and continuously updated on the website cuunankhancap.com. Currently, the IT team is looking for a better way to present it in a map format for people to easily follow.
Before organizing a relief mission, groups should call the hotline 18006132 to register the number of bags, items, transport capacity, and expected date of departure. From there, the coordinating force will support groups to grasp information and distribute relief resources appropriately and promptly.
