    On January 5, authorities in Da Nang continued to search for missing victims swept away by waves.

    Previously, on the afternoon of January 4, at the beach area of ​​Ngu Hanh Son district, Da Nang city, a member of the resort's marine rescue team discovered a drowning tourist.

    Upon reaching the victim, the rescuers gave the tourists a lifebuoy. The rescuers successfully brought the victim to shore safely. However, the rescuer named P.V.N. was exhausted and was swept away by the waves.

    "We have been coordinating with authorities to search for the victim since last night, but we have not found him yet," said Dang Ngoc Tien, SOS Da Nang Rescue Team.

    Currently, authorities are still focusing on searching for victims.
