Abolish the plan to name communes in Ninh Binh in order

NGUYỄN TRƯỜNG |

Ninh Binh - Following the direction of competent authorities, localities have abandoned the plan of naming communes according to the order.

According to the "Project to reorganize commune-level administrative units of Ninh Binh province in 2025", the province will reduce to 39 commune-level administrative units (a reduction of 86 units), the reduction rate will reach 68.8%.

According to the above project, out of the 7 district-level administrative units in Ninh Binh at present, 2 units are expected to name the newly established communes in order of number, namely Yen Khanh district and Yen Mo district.

However, after receiving the people's opinions and following the instructions of competent authorities, Yen Khanh and Yen Mo districts have abandoned the plan to name new communes in order.

Accordingly, Yen Khanh district and Yen Mo district have sent a document to the Department of Home Affairs of Ninh Binh province regarding the plan and expected names of the newly established communes as follows: for Yen Khanh district, there will be 5 new communes with the names Yen Khanh commune; Khanh Nhac commune; Khanh Thien commune; Khanh Hoi commune and Khanh Trung commune.

For Yen Mo district, there are 4 new communes called Yen Mo commune; Yen Mac commune; Yen Tu commune and Dong Thai commune.
