At 6:30 this morning, November 12, search and rescue forces found the body of student D.V.K.D (14 years old), residing in Cam Le district, Da Nang city. The victim was found at the beach in Hoa Hai ward, about 2km from Sao Bien beach.
Previously, on the afternoon of November 10, at Sao Bien beach, My An ward, Ngu Hanh Son district, people discovered two people drowning while swimming. The Da Nang city coastal rescue force and people urgently responded and tried to bring them to shore. P.D.M (14 years old), residing in Hoa Chau commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city was rescued and brought to shore and transferred to the hospital for emergency treatment. D.V.K.D (14 years old) was swept away by the waves and went missing.
The Border Guard, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches, local authorities and local people are trying to find the victim. Volunteer teams used flycams to support the search, and it was not until this morning that the victim's body was found.
