On April 26, Mr. Pham Giang Nam - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba To district, Quang Ngai province, confirmed the incident of a male student being electrocuted to death while performing a performance. The victim was T.C.T. (born in 2010).
Initial information, on the evening of April 25, Ba To Town Secondary School organized an art performance. At about 9:40 p.m. the same day, T.C.T. and her friend were standing on stage when the accident happened.
According to the clip recording the incident, T. accidentally touched the iron frame and was electrocuted. Many people witnessed the incident and panicked and tried to save T. but could not catch up. The victim died with many burns on his body.
The incident was reported to the police. Checking the scene, the police determined that the lighting system for the performance had leaked electricity, leading to the accident.
Quang Ngai police continue to investigate the incident.
