On August 17, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (Dak Lak Provincial Police) said that it had just promptly extinguished a crane fire.
Previously, at 10:15 a.m. the same day, this unit received a report of a fire incident on the extended Hung Vuong route, heading South - North, in Uat Lam quarter, Phu Yen ward.
Accordingly, the crane truck with license plate 78LA-06XX, driven by Mr. T.D.T (born in 1979, residing in Tuy Hoa ward, Dak Lak), encountered an incident while traveling.
Immediately after receiving the information, the unit immediately dispatched 2 fire trucks, 13 officers and soldiers along with specialized equipment and vehicles to the scene.
After only 15 minutes of deployment, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police force successfully controlled and extinguished the fire.
The rescue force prevented the fire from spreading to the car cabin, promptly protecting the safety of the vehicle owner's property.
Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human casualties. The cause of the fire is being verified and clarified by the authorities.
