According to Lao Dong, on the afternoon of July 21, at the domestic arrival and departure terminal T1 at Tan Son Nhat airport, bad weather due to the impact of storm No. 3 delayed and delayed a series of flights, causing adjustments to their schedules.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thang (residing in Ninh Binh province) said that on the morning of July 21, he and his family of 6 people, including 2 young children, departed from their home in Ninh Binh at 5am to Noi Bai airport (Hanoi), on time for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City, expected to take off at 9:30am. However, when he arrived at the airport, he received a notice that his flight had been delayed due to bad weather. At first, the flight was delayed for about 2 hours, then delayed again, until early afternoon. It was already after 4pm when I arrived in Ho Chi Minh City. The children waited very tired, luckily we had some snacks ready to bring with us, Mr. Thang shared.

Not only Mr. Thang, many passengers also fell into a similar situation. Ms. Phan Hong Tham said that she had a flight from Noi Bai airport (Hanoi) to Ho Chi Minh City but was delayed twice due to bad weather. It was not until nearly noon that they could board the plane, however, after settling down, passengers still had to continue waiting in the plane because they were not qualified to take off. "The delay affected my work schedule, but because this was an objective factor, I had to accept and try to rearrange it afterwards," Ms. Tham shared.
Ms. Bui Thi Hoa had a flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Hue, but when arriving at the airport, she and her husband learned that there was a delay. "I was delayed once but I don't know if it will be a second or third time because I was waiting here and heard some people being delayed twice, so I was quite worried," said Ms. Hoa.
