On July 21, Vietnam Expressway Engineering Services Joint Stock Company (VEC E) said that the lane change for the repair of Long Thanh bridge on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway has been completed.
According to VEC E, the blocking lane for construction on Long Thanh bridge has been basically completed since July 15, the construction unit has continued to move to the remaining lane (from Dong Nai to Ho Chi Minh City).
Previously, on July 14, VEC E announced that to serve the construction of repairing the expansion joints at the location of pier P26 - Km12 +907, Long Thanh bridge (left of the route) on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway, the construction unit will temporarily limit speed and narrow the lane at the construction site by implementing a barrier of 1/2 of the Long Thanh bridge surface within the construction area.
The reason for placing signs limiting speed and narrowing the lane from Km12+827 to Km13+322, from Dong Nai - Ho Chi Minh City.
The construction period is about 15 days, starting from July 15 to July 30. However, up to now, the construction progress has been reduced by 3 days, and will be completed by July 27.
The Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Province Police announces 3 routes:
Route 1: Vehicles move onto the Ben Luc - Long Thanh - Truong Chinh road - Tran Phu road (road 319) - Ton Duc Thang - towards Cat Lai ferry (car and passenger car with less than 16 seats).
Route 2: Vehicles moving on National Highway 51 - Ton Duc Thang Street - towards Cat Lai ferry (car and passenger car with less than 16 seats).
Route 3: Vehicles moving on National Highway 51 towards National Highway 1 (Dong Nai Bridge), for passenger vehicles with more than 16 seats and large freight vehicles.
