According to records on the night of September 28 and the morning of September 29, due to the impact of storm No. 10 Bualoi, Thanh Hoa province experienced prolonged heavy rain, causing flooding in many places.


In Hac Thanh ward (centre of Thanh Hoa city), many streets and neighborhoods were deeply submerged in water.
Roads such as Phan Chu Trinh, Tran Phu, Quang Trung, Le Loi Avenue, Trieu Quoc Dat, Truong Thi, Lam Son Square... were all heavily flooded, making it impossible for many vehicles to travel.

According to the record, continuous heavy rain with strong winds also caused many trees to break and fall.


In Hac Thanh ward, many residential areas and streets were partially flooded, a series of trees were broken, making traffic difficult.
On Truong Thi Street, many trees were uprooted and fell across the road, including 1 tree that fell directly into a household.

In Hoang Phu commune, storm No. 10 caused heavy rain and strong gusts of wind, causing many houses to have their roofs blown off and collapse; trees broken and fallen, causing heavy damage.

Rescuing 4 people in a house collapsed by storm
At about 4:30 a.m. on September 29, in the Phu Khe bridge area (Hoang Phu commune), a corrugated iron roof of a house was suddenly knocked down by the wind, killing 4 people in the family, including young children, trapped inside. After many efforts, the authorities and local people safely rescued all 4 victims and handed them over to their families for care.


At the same time, in many villages in Hoang Phu commune, dozens of other houses had their roofs blown off, walls collapsed, and collapsed completely; trees and electric poles were broken and fell onto the railway line, causing congestion on railways and widespread power outages.
The commune government has mobilized local forces to coordinate with the commune police, militia and people to initially overcome the situation.
