After drinking a few boxes, fake milk information appeared everywhere, causing patients to panic whether they should continue to use this product or not.

"I discovered cancer, then after treatment, the doctor advised me to add this milk, and after drinking it, I didn't feel much change. I have now drunk a few boxes and seen that fake milk is everywhere, I was very worried but did not dare to ask the doctor if I should continue drinking it or not.

Currently, at Tan Trieu K Hospital, there is no doctor or medical staff adding milk to the prescription as before. If milk is safe and the addition of milk to medicine is not wrong, how can they stop? I am very worried about that," Ms. Ha confided.

At the gate of K Hospital, when researching the milk market that self-declared to be sold to patients of pharmacies around the hospital, the reporter also recorded KinRay milk products being sold at Chinh An Pharmacy.

"This is the milk that doctors at K Hospital specialize in for cancer patients, you can rest assured to buy for your family to drink, to ensure that you can't do anything," the pharmacy staff advised.

Spending millions to buy bone and joint milk self-declared and then thrown away

Ms. Vu Thi Hong (residing on Ho Tung Mau Street, Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi) said that recently she spent more than 2 million VND to buy a box of powdered milk, including 5 boxes of "encephalt and bone milk - Boca sure Gold". The product is advertised widely by people claiming to be doctors on social networks as being imported from the US, specializing in supporting the treatment of bone and joint diseases.

"I have had bone and joint diseases for many years. In addition to medication, I also supplemented milk and functional foods. Seeing the advertisement to buy 3 gifts, 2 gifts, affordable prices, and being recommended by doctors online is very good, I trusted and bought it to use," Ms. Hong shared.

However, when the news about the fake milk ring being destroyed spread, Ms. Hong suddenly felt confused. Although she had almost finished all the milk she bought, she immediately stopped when she heard warnings about products aimed at patients like herself.

"I don't dare drink anymore. It is not clear what the real origin is, whether this product is on the list of fake milk that the authorities have announced. Although spending money, health is still paramount, Ms. Hong sighed.

Not only Ms. Hong, her younger sister, Ms. Vu Bich Nhung, is also worried. Ms. Nhung is a patient visiting K Hospital (Tan Trieu facility, Hanoi), said that the area around the hospital is flooded with stores and drug stalls selling powdered milk to patients. After the scandal, many milk products suddenly "disappeared" from the shelves for unknown reasons.

"Some of my relatives in the countryside, after knowing that they had bought fake milk, had to throw it away, some mixed it with pets to drink to avoid feeling wasteful," Ms. Nhung said sadly.

A series of missing products after the fake milk scandal

From the initial clues, the reporter followed the address publicly printed on the packaging of the product "Boca Sure Gold", Savita Vietnam Joint Stock Company (No. 32, 111/44, Group 13 Yen Lo, Yen Nghia, Ha Dong, Hanoi) is responsible for product quality and distribution. However, the reality makes many people suspicious of the legality and transparency of this unit.

When seeing a reporter asking about the way to Savita Vietnam Soursop Joint Stock Company to buy milk, a middle-aged woman warned: "Don't buy there, since the fake milk crop until now, you can't see them anywhere. You should not buy because the origin is unknown".

Coming to this address, through observation, the headquarters of Savita Vietnam So- consulate ginseng Joint Stock Company is just a normal house, three floors and an attic, hidden deep in a small alley. Notably, this address is also a place of business registration for at least three different companies.

At the time of recording, the house was locked and had no signs of business operations, offices or warehouses.

In addition, a series of websites that used to advertise and distribute products such as bocasuregold.com, Samsavita.com.vn... of this enterprise have also simultaneously stopped operating and cannot be accessed.

Milk market around K Hospital: Chaotic and uncontrollable

Not only at the distribution company's address, the situation of powdered milk trading is also painful in the area around K Hospital (Tan Trieu facility, Thanh Tri, Hanoi).

Along the rows of dilapidated boarding houses, the paths around the hospital are flooded with leaflets and walls with advertisements inviting powdered milk and water milk for cancer patients and people after surgery...

Posing as a patient's family member who wanted to buy milk, the reporter went to a drug store located near the hospital gate (on Cau Buu Street, Tan Trieu). Here, a female saleswoman introduced to reporters many types of bottled milk imported from Sweden and the US, especially for heavy cases.

The reporter raised the issue of the need to buy powdered milk to mix for relatives, the female pharmacy employee carefully asked about the patient's condition to consult on powdered milk, but absolutely, no such product was publicly sold on shelves.

After trusting him, this person took the reporter along the boarding houses to get into a small room, nearly 100m from the pharmacy, deep in the dark alley.

Here, the female employee marketed foreign-named starch products such as Neomilk Gold, Fucoidan Gold but produced in Vietnam, priced at about 730,000 VND/box and affirmed that "these are all very good products for cancer patients".

When the reporter expressed his desire to consult a doctor before buying, the employee immediately pushed away: "Doctors can only treat diseases, who knows what kind of milk is good. As at present, in K hospital, doctors no longer prescribe milk to the prescription, only before have they prescribed it. This person also revealed that these powdered milk products are only sold to regular customers, and it will be difficult to buy for strangers.

When the reporter continued to ask to buy another box of starch, the employee's attitude became cautious. Immediately after that, another woman, claiming to be the store owner, quickly closed the warehouse door and loudly denied the business: "There is nothing to sell here, just one or two boxes to help patients".

In reality, around Tan Trieu K Hospital, the sale of self-declared starch, with many "strange" names, is still taking place everywhere at drug stores and grocery stores, but some products are not being sold publicly.
