As of dawn on November 21, social networks were continuously seeing statuses of cries for help from people isolated in deeply flooded areas in Khanh Hoa.
They urgently called on authorities to help bring them to safety, while many areas were not yet reached by rescue forces.
In Dien Khanh commune and Tay Nha Trang ward, dozens of households were stuck in the attic or had to stay on the roof for two consecutive nights.

Many families posted their positions on local groups in the hope of being discovered and rescued in time.
On social networks, it is not difficult to see shares like "the whole family is sitting on the roof for two nights", or images of the elderly and children waiting in a trembling wait for help.
Some people reported that some people had died but the authorities could not reach them to take them out.
With so many reports, many areas are completely cut off, people have begun to share their own experiences of survival when flood waters rise.
Other media suggested a safe supply method: do not include cooked rice because it is easy to spoil; prioritize bread, instant noodles, raincoats, essential oils, fever-reducing medicine, and basic medical supplies.

Meanwhile, some units, hotels and schools in Nha Trang have opened their doors to people to evacuate for free. Some points being received include:
Old Olympic Hotel, Phan Boi Chau Street (Dam Market area); Au Lac Thinh Conference Center, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street (Nha Trang Ward); CCT Hotel (86A Tran Phu) and Ruby Hotel (14 Tran Phu); Vo Van Ky Secondary School; SSH07 and SSH08 Apartment Building, Ha Quang 1 Area (Nam Nha Trang Ward).
These accommodation locations also call on the community to support essential necessities to serve people taking shelter from floods.
