According to records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, on the morning and noon of August 24, very heavy rain appeared in Thanh Hoa province. Heavy rain in a short time caused many roads in Hac Thanh and Dong Quang wards to be flooded.
In Hac Thanh ward, some routes and areas such as Phu Tho 3, Phan Chu Trinh and some roads in Binh Minh urban area were deeply flooded. In Dong Quang ward, Dang Viet Chau street also appeared many sections with high water levels.
Flooding makes it difficult to move through the above areas, some vehicles have to turn around or choose other routes.
In the Phu Tho 3 area (Hac Thanh ward) and Dang Viet Chau street (Dong Quang ward), people and functional forces have placed warning signs and stretched ropes at deep flooded locations to limit vehicles from entering and ensure safety.
