According to Decree 168/2024/ND-CP effective from January 1, 2025, motorcyclists riding on the sidewalk (except for those driving on the sidewalk to enter a house or office) will be fined from 4 to 6 million VND. In addition to being subject to administrative penalties, motorcyclists committing the above violations will also have their driving license deducted by 2 points.
