On August 6, Road Management Zone 3 (Ministry of Construction) said that the unit had grasped information about many vehicles having punctured tires when traveling on expressways through Dak Lak province. The unit has sent forces to the scene to regulate traffic, ensure safe traffic for vehicles, and avoid congestion.
Recorded at the Chi Thanh - Van Phong expressway, the section passing through Tuy An Bac commune, on the morning of August 6, many cars had to stop urgently on the route to replace or patch tires after encountering problems.
Faced with the above situation, Road Management Zone 3 has sent forces to the scene to regulate traffic, support ensuring safety for vehicles and limit the risk of congestion on the expressway.
The cause of many vehicles having punctured tires is currently being further verified and clarified by functional agencies.
According to Mr. Nguyen Chi Dat (resident of Dong Hoa ward), on the same morning, while driving a car on the Chi Thanh - Van Phong expressway, passing through Tuy An Bac commune, his car suddenly had a flat tire.
Checking the vehicle, Mr. Dat discovered a sharp iron object stuck to the tire. Unable to continue moving, he was forced to leave the highway and go down National Highway 29 to find a repair place.
At a car repair shop, Mr. Dat met many other drivers in similar situations. These people said that the car had a punctured tire after traveling through the Chi Thanh - Van Phong expressway.
