On the same day, Hai Hung Commune Police received 1 air gun (firing lead bullets), 6 self-rolling firecrackers, with a total weight of 4.2 kg. Cat Hai Special Zone Police also just mobilized people to hand over 4.3 kg of firecrackers.

Previously, in the afternoon of January 1st, the Crime Prevention Police Team - Tien Lang Commune Police received from Mr. Nguyen Van D (born in 1981, residing in Tien Lang commune) 3 packages of raw materials for making firecrackers. The packages of raw materials used for making and producing firecrackers include: 1 package of sulfur weighing 0.55 kg, 1 package of sodium weighing 1 kg; 1 package of potassium chlorate weighing 1,040 kg. The total weight of all 3 packages of raw materials is 2.59 kg.
On December 30, 2025, Tien Lang Commune Police also received 18 self-rolled firecrackers made of student books and notebooks, with a total weight of 3.3 kg and 1 slow-burning cord 1.05 m long. The firecrackers and cords were voluntarily handed over to Tien Lang Commune Police by 3 teenagers from Tan Minh commune.
