Recorded by Lao Dong Newspaper reporters on the morning of September 8, many roads in Hanoi experienced traffic jams and localized congestion, causing vehicles to move slowly.
On Xuan Thuy street, in the direction of Cau Giay, the volume of vehicles is large and congestion is prolonged. Notably, in the area of the median strip opening for vehicles to turn around, near alley 255 Cau Giay, there is a situation of motorcyclists crossing the road and going against traffic on the sidewalk to enter alley 255 Cau Giay or Dich Vong street.

On Lang street, in the direction of Nga Tu So intersection, vehicles also moved slowly at some locations, especially around the Lang - Tran Duy Hung, Lang - Yen Lang intersections and Nga Tu So area.
Traffic signs of Hanoi City Police also update the situation on the main road, helping people proactively choose their route.

Some other routes also recorded crowdedness, congestion or slow movement. Such as on Ho Tung Mau street, congestion towards Mai Dich, the section passing through the University of Commerce; Le Duan is crowded, congestion towards Giai Phong; Nguyen Van Cu is crowded towards Chuong Duong bridge, congestion from the Hong Tien intersection area.
On Thang Long bridge, in the direction of Noi Bai, vehicles moved slowly from the middle of the bridge area. At Ring Road 2, the Nga Tu So exit area, vehicles were crowded and moving slowly.
Right from yesterday, when students returned to school, they saw that the traffic density was much higher than before. Now, to avoid congestion, the only way is to get up and go out earlier," Mr. Hoang Van Nghia (Lao Cai) shared.

Many people also shared that these days, roads passing through school areas often experience localized congestion, especially in the early morning. This situation is common in primary and secondary schools, when many parents use personal vehicles to take their children to school.
In the context of the increasing number of vehicles during peak hours, people should proactively monitor traffic conditions on mass media, traffic monitoring applications, choose appropriate routes and comply with the instructions of functional forces when moving through congested areas.
