On the morning of July 24, due to the impact of heavy rain lasting for many hours, many roads in Hung Yen province were partially flooded. This situation is serious in Son Nam wards - the city center, with many streets such as Nhan Duc, Nguyen Luong Bang, Tran Quang Khai.
The rain poured down quickly, causing the drainage system to overload. Some sections of the road were flooded 2025 cm deep, making it difficult for vehicles to move. Traffic through flooded streets becomes slow, greatly affecting people's daily life and morning work.
Areas near traditional markets, densely populated residential areas and school gates were also flooded, causing inconvenience to trading activities as well as daily activities.
According to the forecast from the meteorological agency, the weather in Hung Yen in the coming days will continue to have rain, with some places having moderate to heavy rain. In response to this development, people are advised to proactively monitor weather forecast information, avoid flooding and limit travel through low-lying areas during heavy rain.
