On July 23, in Nghia Tru commune (Hung Yen province), the Ministry of Health coordinated with the Vietnam Health Trade Union and local authorities to solemnly organize a meeting to pay tribute to war invalids, sick soldiers and their families who have contributed to the revolution.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen - Permanent Deputy Minister of Health; Mr. Lai Van Hoan - Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee, along with representatives of units under the health sector, Nghia Tru commune government and many policy families.
At the program, the working group including the Ministry of Health, the Vietnam Health Trade Union, leaders of Hung Yen province and sponsors presented 953 gifts and cash, with a total value of 500 million VND, to pay tribute to war invalids, sick soldiers and relatives of martyrs in the commune.
This is an activity that shows the deep concern and gratitude of the health sector for those who have devoted and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. At the same time, it is also an opportunity to educate the tradition of "Remembering the source of drinking water", " compliments and gratitude" in all officers and employees of the medical sector.
Previously, on the morning of July 22, Prof. Dr. Tran Van Thuan - Deputy Minister of Health, Chairman of the National Medical Council also visited and expressed gratitude to the families of martyrs and war invalids in Viet Tien commune, Hung Yen province.
Deputy Minister Tran Van Thuan kindly asked about the health and life of policy families, expressing his gratitude for the sacrifices and losses of previous generations. He affirmed that the work of "repaying gratitude" is a sacred and regular responsibility, a vivid manifestation of the Vietnamese ethnic tradition.
