The contractor is trying to complete the project soon, meeting the increasing travel demand between the two provinces according to the merger policy.

The management board of the XD-01 package said that contractors have arranged many construction teams for bridges and roads with hundreds of workers, engineers, equipment and machinery working continuously.
In particular, focusing on roadbed construction, Dai Ninh bridge repair, Km 10+600 bridge and casting concrete components, culverts, and concrete beams.

In recent days, the traffic volume on National Highway 28B has also increased, so many vehicles have watered the road to reduce dust and have people regulate traffic.
As for the XD-02 package, the contractor is rushing to complete the roadbed and level the curved sections on Dai Ninh Pass. The crushed stone layer is spread at km49 of Phan Son commune, Bac Binh district, Binh Thuan province, and at km66 through Duc Trong district, Lam Dong province, it is paved with C19 asphalt concrete.

The project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 28B through Binh Thuan and Lam Dong provinces is about 69 km long, of which the section through Binh Thuan province is about 51 km.

At the beginning of the route, the national highway in Bac Binh district, Binh Thuan province. The end point is intersected with Highway 20 in Duc Trong district, Lam Dong province. The total project investment is about VND 1,400 billion. The project is invested by the Vietnam Road Administration and this unit assigned to the Project Management Board 5 project management.

The project is invested according to the scale of a level III plain road, a 12 m wide roadbed, an 11 m wide road surface, and a design speed of 80 km/h.
After the renovation and upgrading, National Highway 28B will meet the transportation needs on the East - West corridor, supporting socio-economic development, regional tourism, especially the Ho Chi Minh City - Mui Ne - Da Lat tourism triangle axis.
