Dossiers increase sharply right from the first day of the year
After the Binh Ngo Tet holiday, the atmosphere at the Administrative Service Center of Quang Tri Provincial Police has become busier than usual. From early morning, people came to get their registration numbers, waiting to resolve procedures quite crowded. The number of dossiers is concentrated in the fields of immigration, citizen identification card issuance and some other personal administrative procedures.
In just the first day of the Binh Ngo year, the Immigration Management Department received and processed more than 400 applications related to passports and travel permits. Most people make passports to serve their study, work, and travel plans abroad in the new year.

Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Van, residing in Hoan Lao commune, said that she took advantage of getting a passport early to be proactive in her personal plans. According to her, the process is clearly guided, and specific support staff are available, so the waiting time is not too long. The arrangement of reception areas and reasonable declaration instructions helps people to be more convenient when carrying out procedures.
Not only in the police sector, at the Quang Tri Provincial Public Administration Service Center, the number of people and businesses coming to transact has increased significantly. Procedures related to land, justice, insurance, business registration, and investment have been concerned and resolved right from the beginning of the year.
Many businesses are urgently completing legal documents to soon deploy production, business and labor and employment plans in the year of Binh Ngo.
Proactively resolve dossiers quickly
The large workload creates no small pressure on the contingent of cadres and civil servants. However, thanks to prior preparation, the units have proactively developed plans to regulate human resources, and arranged additional reception desks in areas with increased dossiers.
Some departments have strengthened staff to support and guide people to complete dossiers right from the beginning, limiting the situation of having to travel many times.

Propaganda and guidance for people to implement online public services are promoted to shorten waiting times and reduce the burden on the direct receiving department.
Mr. Ho Van Thanh, Deputy Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Public Administration Service Center, said that right from the first working day of the Binh Ngo year, the Center identified the key task as guiding, supporting, receiving, processing and delivering results to people and businesses most conveniently.
The unit arranges sufficient facilities and equipment to serve both direct and online forms through the Public Service Portal, ensuring no interruption of the dossier process.
According to Mr. Thanh, taking the satisfaction of people and businesses as a measure of operational efficiency is a consistent requirement in 2026. Each cadre and civil servant must uphold the spirit of responsibility, maintain a standard and professional service attitude, and prevent inconvenience and harassment.
Quick and regulated dossier resolution not only meets immediate needs but also contributes to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management. This is an important premise to continue building a professional and modern administration, serving the needs of the people and the business community in the province better and better.
