Khmer youth keep traditional crafts, create livelihoods for their homeland
Born in 1994, Mr. Huu Minh Tai (Ca Mau) comes from a farming family and soon cherished the dream of getting rich on his homeland. From his passion for wood carving, he built a handicraft production model imbued with Khmer cultural identity.

His products are well received by domestic and foreign markets, bringing in revenue of about 300 million VND per year, with an estimated profit of 250 million VND. His production facility also creates stable jobs for three local young men and dozens of seasonal workers.
Not only doing business, Mr. Tai actively participates in Youth Union - Association activities, building community volleyball courts, and passing on wood carving to young people in difficult circumstances. For many Khmer young people in Ca Mau, he is a model for the young generation who dare to think, dare to do, know how to link personal aspirations with social responsibility.
Young soldiers spread the shock spirit of youth
In Cao Bang, Senior Lieutenant Phuong Nam Khanh - Propaganda Assistant of the Provincial Defense Command 3 - Nguyen Binh - is a typical face in political work, Youth Union work and youth movements.

In the period of 2021-2024, he proactively advised the Party Committee on Party and political work; at the same time, organized many grassroots activities such as "Joining hands to build new rural areas" and "For the poor". He won many high prizes in professional competitions, including the Second Prize in the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" Contest and the Second Prize in the Provincial Excellent Reporters Festival.

Teacher opens 0 VND class for nearly 10 years
For more than 10 years, Mr. Nguyen Khanh - a teacher at Huu Thanh B Primary School (Vinh Long) - has been persistent in teaching charity classes for poor children.

Since 2015, he has opened free classes, not collecting tuition fees and providing full learning tools for students in difficult circumstances. After nearly a decade, the class has attracted more than 700 students, expanding to two classes with nearly 100 students studying cultural and talented subjects.
Not stopping there, in 2016, he founded the "Mutual Assistance" Charity Fund, maintained by deducting 50% of his personal monthly salary and social mobilization sources. For many years, the fund has supported scholarships, lonely elderly people and poor households, becoming a support for many unfortunate circumstances.
Border guards sow "green shoots" at the border
In the Son La border area, Senior Lieutenant Cam Ba Thanh - officer of Chieng On Border Guard Station - is remembered by the people as a soldier who always attached himself to the cause of education in the highlands.

From 2021 to present, he has been the one who directly advised and connected social resources to eliminate temporary classrooms and kitchens for students in border areas. Many projects such as "Diamond Classroom", "Love kitchen", "Love School yard" have been built with a total cost of more than 2.9 billion VND.
At the same time, the models of "Helping children go to school", "Adopted children of border guards" and the poor student sponsorship program were maintained regularly by him and his teammates, helping many children in border areas to continue to go to class, nurturing long-term dream of studying.
According to the Organizing Committee, the "Fire-breaking honor" award aims to spread beautiful stories about responsible Vietnamese people to the community. Through specific fire-bearers, the campaign affirms the role of people in creating sustainable values, from education, culture to social development.
